Cheryl Contee Quoted in Washington Post at Netroots Nation

Cheryl Contee, partner at Fission Strategy, was recently quoted while speaking at Netroots Nation and Fission was mentioned. Here's the quote from the article entitled: Liberal Bloggers Brace for Victory.
After the Q&A session with Pelosi, in which the first questions asked were about impeaching President Bush and Vice President Cheney, the FISA bill and abstinence-only education, some black bloggers complained that they weren't enough questions about rising gas and food prices.
"It reflects a bit of skew," Cheryl Contee, a member of the convention's advisory board, says of the questions to Pelosi. Contee, who is black, runs Fission, a social media consulting firm. "Folks in the convention have to keep in mind that not everyone who considers themselves a part of the Netroots is here, and many of them aren't as concerned about, say, FISA or impeachment. They want jobs."
Cheryl was also quoted in The Trail, one of the Washington Post's most influential blogs in Garance Franke-Ruta's post: At 'Netroots Nation,' Obama Campaign Goes to Ground.
The presidential-candidate speakers of previous years have given way to a mélange of former office-holders (Harold Ford Jr., Don Siegelman) and party stalwarts (Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi), giving the conference a more subdued, settled vibe. But that doesn't mean an irreparable breach between the netroots and the Obama campaign, which is here in force.
"While he's not here, they've definitely been participatory," said Cheryl Contee, a Netroots Nation board member, of the Obama campaign. "They're very active. ... They are definitely involved and committed to working with the netroots to elect Obama in 2008."
Cheryl was also mentioned in The Trail and the Politico when revealing her identity as a leading blogger.
