Fission Strategy Featured on Facebook Studio

Several examples of Fission Strategy's work with non-profit campaigns have recently been featured on Facebook Studio, a new site aimed at promoting the creative ways that marketers are using the platform to build support for organizations, brands, and companies. Launched in early April of this year, Facebook Studio recognizes innovative ways that the marketing community is using Facebook to drive campaign results and capture the attention of target supporters about their products, services, or issues. This site is specifically focused on showcasing high quality social marketing campaigns from companies all over the world.
Fission is the only Facebook Preferred Developer that specializes in helping non-profits, foundations and social entrepreneurs use Facebook's advanced capabilities to engage communities. Here are four campaigns from the stellar non-profits with whom we work that have been recognized by Facebook for their success:
Fission implemented a unique Facebook app for 1GOAL that allowed supporters to create their own team jersey in support of joining The Global Campaign for Education to call on world leaders to provide education for 72 million children by 2015. More than 55,000 people have joined 1GOAL via this campaign and this Facebook app led to a 12% increase in email sign-ups for the overall campaign.
WORLD AIDS DAY Facebook app allowed users to auto-add a red ribbon to their profile photo and donate a status update to their Facebook friends in support of HIV/AIDS awareness through the UNAIDS Commission. The app spread quickly to over 15,000 people worldwide who participated.
The GET VOLUNTEERING app allows users to match their interest and skills with opportunities to serve others in their community or virtually online. The app features a "Good-o-meter" which rewards users for virtuous behavior.
PACIFIER PIN CAMPAIGN incorporated Google Maps with a Facebook app and allowed advocates of MomsRising to display their support for healthcare reform by wearing their own pacifier pin on Facebook.
