Google for Nonprofits Gets an Update

Google for Nonprofits is a program that many of us using interactive tools for outreach use regularly (including our team here at Fission Strategy). Recently Google updated all of the various programs and applications nonprofits can take advantage of on the web. Here are some of the highlights of these benefits:
- Simple one-stop application process which should take no more than a month for review and acceptance.
- Up to $10,000 per month of free online advertising using Google AdWords to reach more donors and constituents, and build program awareness.
- Premium features for YouTube, allowing for simple integration of a donation button and ability to link back to your own site.
- Free licensing for Google Earth Pro, Google SketchUp Pro and Maps API Premier though the Google Earth Outreach program.
