It's Official: Cheryl Contee is one of the Most Influential Women in Technology

posted by Roz Lemieux on May 5, 2010

The crew at Fission Strategy has always known what Fast Company recently revealed to the whole world, namely that Cheryl Contee is one of the Most Influential Women in Technology 2010. Fast Company honored Cheryl and Fission Strategy by including us in the Activist category, along with other amazing women like Ellen Miller, the co-founder of the Sunlight Foundation; Leslie Harris, the CEO of the Center for Democracy + Tech; and Jessica Jackley, the founder of Kiva. Cheryl is truly in great company! Cheryl sums up her philosophy like this: "Women need to see that there are many different ways to find your niche in technology; you don't need to be a computer programmer to do so." How right you are, Cheryl. Congratulations! We're proud of you!
