Project Summary:
While dressing up as a teacher, policeman, firefighter, or astronaut for Halloween may be fun for one night, many children want to pursue these careers and do not want to settle for just a costume. Fission Strategy built a Halloween-themed microsite with a creative web app for MomsRising.org that allowed users to design a colorful, imaginative and eye-catching Halloween card with a variety of styles that emphasized more than a costume is needed for a child to succeed. The app provided a quick, unique way to petition and tell Congress not to cut vital childhood care and education programs.
